EWMnetwork: Mission, Aims
Mission
Our mission is to enable WM patients to represent their interests at a European level. This way WM patients are given an immediate voice at European health institutions and in European health politics. Hence our motto “Patients for Patients”.
Aims
Our aims are:

to represent the interests of Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia (WM) patients on a European level, in order to give WM patients support and help to get the best possible care

to ensure accessibility to treatment and medication and to get orphan drug status or new drug approval for Waldenström's Macroglobulinemia treatment

to ensure accessibility to information on new and current trials

to stimulate and support research into new methods of treatment and medication

to exchange information between WM patient support groups or support organisations within and outside Europe

to include as many WM patient support groups or patient support organisations into the EWMnetwork as possible, in order to become the encompassing European voice for WM patients, since our mission is "Patients for Patients".
